| Hotel: Corfu Holiday Palace Board Basis: board Year: 2008 Month: February Your Rating: 4* Name: carol Kimminski comments: Well what can i say...when we arrived at the hotel, i got the feeling i had been taken back in time into the 70s and 80s. i mean the hotel decor gave you that feeling. Rooms were normal size rooms (not large). they are cleaned on a regular basis. There is a casino on site... which kepts us entertained anf a few days, until we lost a few £££'s. The staff at the hotel were excellent, polite and well trained in their roles. The hotel has a little private (ish) beach. Now the DOWN SIDE was the aircraft noise... the hotel is situated close to the airport and if the windows were open, you will hear noise. when makeing a booking always ask for the seaview rooms and not the airport view rooms... well we all learn from our mistakes. I would mark this hotel 8 out of 10... the 2 things the let it down was the decor and the noise. I hope others fidn this personal experience usefull. thanks C Kimminski |
