| Hotel: Ascot Hotel Board Basis: board Year: 2008 Month: January Your Rating: 3* Name: Patrik Berger comments: Overall my family and i were not impressed with this hotel, this is being sold as a good 4 star, but at best i would say this is a ok 3 star hotel due to the service and standard of accommodation. When we arrived we had to wait alomost an hour before we got allocated a rooms and than they could not give us a interconnecting room - finally they mamanged to sort out two rooms next to each other, Both rooms were not 4 star standard. This hotel had 2 things going for it... firstly he location - which is excellent and secondaly the staff who were friendly and polite. After 4 nights we decided to pay the bill and move out to hotel down the road. We got a very good deal when booking, so i supose you get what you pay for, now i know why this was being sold so cheap!!! I will NOT take my family to this hotel again, however having said that, i would not mind if i was travelling on my own... this hotel is ok for a single traveller. |
