| Hotel: Aparthotel Castillo San Jorge Antigua Board Basis: board Year: 2007 Month: November Your Rating: 3* Name: John Beston comments: My Family and I ( Me + wife + 2 boys and little baby) visited for 12 nights late last year. We had a really good time, we had booked the larger apartment for the family on self catering basis, As my and wife and i are both cooks, we always book self catering. So i can not say anything about the restaurants and food there. however i can say from what i saw, was the restaurant was looked good and there were many staff to help the clientel. The staff at the hotel were excellent and always there to help and guide you. Rooms were spacious but a bit basic in aminites, however i can only speak for the apartment that we had booked (large family apartment with partial sea view). rooms were kept clean with towel change and linen change almost daily ( the cleaners were friendly and very good at theor job). Now regarding the facilities... Pools are excellent, a tad on the cold side but when you days are hot you dont mind a slightly cooler water to swim in. You do have a choice of few pools, and yes you can use anyone one you want. there were enough senbeds for eveyone, so no need to wake up 4am to book a bed!!!! If i had to give this hotel a rating out of 10 i would say 9...as the only thing let it down was the noise from the other guest near our apartment. We would and will visith this hotel again. |
