| Hotel: Akteon Holiday Village Board Basis: board Year: 2008 Month: April Your Rating: 4* Name: Mary Ingleveed comments: this was a good holiday- we stayed at the Akteon Holiday Village for 12 nights and we all had a pleasant time. On our arrival we were met and greeted by reception staff who helped us check in and allocated our room to us. when we got to our room, we found the room had not been cleaned. SO we logged a complaint with reception and wiht 15 mins we were allocated another room, which was larger than the first and also had a sea view. Both rooms seemed to be basic. room was cleaned daily - with a few sheet change weekly. we booked a self catering board as we have been to cyrpus before and know where all the good eating places are, the quality of food served in our fav restaurants is very very good and you do get large platters. Pool and pool area in the hotle are very good, sloping decline into pool, which was very good for both kids and adults. all staff we encountered were very helpfull polite and very frindly. the weather was good almost fo all our 12 nights stay there. from the holiday village there is a very god transport network, either by taxi - or local transport to get to coral bay or local market, shopping or the harbour. If you have little one like we did, there is good kiddies entertainment day and night. overall we are very happy with our holiday and we did like the holiday village, we picked up a bargain price fr the 12 nights, and at these price it hard to focus on minor issue. we have been to paphos many times in the past and we will contiue to come here in the future. |
