| Hotel: Agadir Beach Club Board Basis: board Year: 2007 Month: September Your Rating: 4* Name: Sandy Asghar comments: Stayed at the Agadir beach club in sept 2007 and i have to say i had mixed feelings about this hotel, when we booked this hotel via our local travel agent told us it was a four star hotel with a private beach. When someone say private beach - in my mind private is not for everyone use!!! or atleast for hotels guest ONLY..!!!! not the case Staff was exceptional, polite and very friendly - All had a smile on their face all the time. i have to say... you will not visit many hotels with staff like this... it must be something in the water... even my husband had a smile by nthe time we left the hotel (he never smiles :-) Food was ok, breakfast was the same most days, evening meal was better, and there is a goos selection of restaurants to pick from, there was planty of food going to go round for everyone to have seconds and thirds or even more if you had the stomach for it!!! We met a fellow holiday maker at the hotel, who was travelling alone and she was informing us about the local customs, she had been to this hotel 3 times in the last 3 years. Althoughi did not feel and notice this as i did have my husband with me, she said when she first came here, she got anoyed by the local males, they would follow her everwhere (local custom is to have a male with you at all times and this does not happen). Now is it was fine as she had learned the language and she can tell them to "take a hiike" in their language.!!! the good this is, the hotel has so much within it you dont really have to leave the site, unless you want ot go shopping or go on a local tour. Overall we both liked this hotel, we did have a good time and would not hesitate revisit sometime next year. |
